Current Worship Series: Together:
At the start of a new year, many of us are dreaming about what the world can become. But whether it's our own lives, our world, or our church: we are designed to do this together, to be in this together. Even while we're socially distanced from one another, we can still find ways to work together to make the world and church we want to live in. Join us for "Together," a four-week series that will invite us to commit courageously to personal and community practices of love and generosity. At the end of the series, you'll have the opportunity to respond to these invitations.
When you first connect to online worship via the Zoom link, you'll be in the waiting room. If you're a first time visitor, we'll ask you to complete this form, to help ensure a safe online worship space. Upon arriving in worship, please remember to 'put on your name tag' (change your screen name to reflect who is with you in worship). This is one way we can stay connected and put faces with names during this time of distancing. See you there!
Our services are also live-streamed on our HopeGateWay facebook page. Services are streamed in two parts, before and after our sharing of joys and concerns, for privacy and respect of all who are sharing.
When not closed for public health precautions, we worship
Sunday mornings at 9 am + 11 am
509 Forest Avenue, Portland
Childcare for preschoolers provided during both gatherings
Our worship gatherings are inter-generational, informal, interactive, and sensory-rich, blending classic and contemporary elements. Music includes a mix of music from the global church, contemporary songs with theological integrity and traditional hymns (sometimes with a little twist!)
We welcome newcomers nearly every week.
We'd be so glad to have you join us!
Our children's ministry, HopeGateWay Kids, meets on Sundays between the two worship gatherings at 10:15 am (except during the summer, when we take a little break), for kids grades K-5 — and also a Middle School Group. Children and youth are invited for engaging, multi-sensory, interactive explorations of the Bible and concepts of faith, through storytelling, music, art, and fun.
