There are lots of ways to get involved in worship...First, just come. We know it can be a little intimidating walking into a new church community for the first time. Sometimes it feels like walking into someone else's family reunion, doesn't it? But come anyway. We're pretty good at making newcomers feel welcome, without being too touchy-feely.Secondly, maybe there's a way you'd like to be more involved... by helping with set-up, playing or singing with our musical ensemble, making some cookies to share, reading a prayer, helping with ideas for a worship station, stacking chairs when we're finished, or something else. It takes a lot of people to pull off worship, and we'd love to help you get connected. And most importantly, get connected up with a LIFE Community. These small missional groups are the heart of our community, the center of our life and ministry, and a primary entry point. We gather weekly in small groups - usually six to twelve people - on weeknights in people's homes. Typically LIFE Communities include a shared meal, prayer, conversation, and reflection on the deep questions of life and faith. We gather to help each other understand how the stories of Scripture apply to daily life, and to explore what it means to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God. Check out the LIFE Community page for more information.
