5 pm Dinner Worship

What if church were less like a spectator event and more like a dinner party with friends?

We are so excited about the launch of our HopeGateWay Dinner Church worship gathering – 5 pm every Sunday at our 185 High Street site.

Our Site Pastor, Benjamin Yosua-Davis, has been working for five months with a gifted and dedicated team, praying and planning and preparing for this. It's going to be great!

Come eat, pray, talk, and sing with us! Everyone's invited to worship around the table, sharing food and conversation.

Bring a side dish or topping for our potluck dinner, a friend, and an open heart!

Here's the potluck rotation:

  • 1st Sunday of the Month: Pasta Bar
  • 2nd Sunday: Wrap Bar
  • 3rd Sunday: Taco Bar
  • 4th Sunday: Chili Bar
  • 5th Sunday: Salad Bar
  • Gluten-free options available, too.

HopeGateWay is an open, inclusive, LGBTQ affirming community.

509 Forest Avenue: Street parking is available on Forest Avenue and many residential streets in the neighborhood. Also, free evening and weekend parking is available in our underground parking garage - ramp is one unit beyond 509 Forest Avenue, and the security code will be available. A large satellite parking lot is located at 41 Ashmont Street.

185 High Street: Street parking, free on Sundays, is available on High Street, Cumberland Avenue, Forest Avenue, and residential streets in the neighborhood. Parking is also available in the Gateway parking garage directly above us, for a fee.

Our worship gatherings are intergenerational, informal, interactive and sensory, blending classic and contemporary elements. Music includes a mix of traditional hymns (sometimes with a little twist), music from the global church, and more contemporary songs. Check it out!
