What's Going On
Every year in October, our HopeGateWay community gathers for some time away, in a beautiful place. Check out this year's retreat information to get a sense of what the experience is like and plan to join us next year!
at The Lodges Retreat Center
Camp Tohkomeupog, Purity Springs Resort
East Madison, NH
80 minutes from Portland
begins Friday evening around 6 pm
ends late Sunday morning
In a world that seems to be drawing lines, pulling in, and crowding out... where racism and bigotry and xenophobia are tearing communities apart... we’ll spend a weekend away, exploring what it means to practice radical hospitality — making space for the stranger, the newcomer, the unfamiliar or different... and for God. Join us Columbus Day weekend, Friday evening until Sunday noon, for community, creativity, outdoor activities, good food, laughter, worship, and spiritual renewal! Our retreat leader will be Kristin Kumpf, who serves as the Director of Human Migration & Mobility at the American Friends Service Committee in Washington, D.C.
