Volunteer with Greater Portland Family Promise!
Are you interested in volunteering with our ministry with homeless families? There are many ways that you can help. Whether you provide a hot meal, arrange activities for children, or stay overnight, you can make a difference in the lives of families who have suffered the ordeal of losing their home. Interested? Community Meals: an opportunity to serve
Second Thursdays, monthly | 4 pm | 185 High Street
The second Thursday of each month is HopeGateWay’s turn to provide the full team for the free community dinner. Help with set-up at 4:00, serve dinner at 5:30, and stay to help with clean-up if you can. Please sign up on the clipboard.
The Generosity Project | Practicing stewardship in 2017
If you haven’t had a chance to turn in your stewardship commitment card, please take some time this week to make your commitment of prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness for the year 2017, either with orange commitment card or by making a pledge online. We’re counting on you to help ensure another great year of ministry and mission!
GPS: Grow through Prayer & Scripture
How about starting the new year with a new spiritual practice? We send out a daily email with a prayer, reflection, or Scripture reading – an excellent resource for your daily quiet time. If you don’t already receive it, subscribe now at www.hopegateway.com or through our Facebook page.
Tuesday Community Lunch: a volunteer opportunity
We could use a few extra volunteers for the Tuesday lunch we serve at our 185 High Street site, in partnership with Wayside Food Programs. Set up begins at 10:30 am, and lunch is served at 12 noon.
